Installing a theme

Install steps

1. Download the theme .zip from your Gumroad receipt. The file arrives as a compressed archive — do not extract it.
2. In Ghost Admin, go to Settings → Design → Change theme → Upload theme.
3. Select the .zip file you downloaded.
4. Click Activate when Ghost confirms the upload.

Note

Do not unzip the file before uploading. Ghost expects the .zip as-is. Uploading an extracted folder will fail.

Tip

The live demo linked from each theme’s overview page is the reference for how the theme should look with typical content. If something looks different on your site, check the per-theme settings reference — most visual differences are controlled by a single setting.

Theme-specific notes

Each theme has its own Install page in the sidebar with any notes that are specific to that release — required Ghost configuration, injected routes, or recommended initial settings. Review that page after you activate the theme.
