Settings reference

These settings live in Ghost Admin under Settings → Design → Customize.

Setting	Type	Default	Options	What it does
color_scheme	select	Dark	Dark, Light, Auto	Photography reads best on dark. Auto follows the reader's system.
accent_color	color	#b89b72	—	A tarnished-silver warmth for links, rules and small marks.
grid_density	select	Balanced	Spacious, Balanced, Dense	How many photographs sit side by side in the gallery grid.
homepage_intro	text	A journal of light, land and the quiet hour.	—	A short line shown beneath the title on the homepage.
show_captions	boolean	true	—	Show photo captions beneath feature images.
show_feature_image	boolean	true	—	Lead each story with its full feature image.
