Membership

Silverpoint supports Ghost membership and Portal in full — sign-up, sign-in, free and paid post access all work. The theme is image-first, not paywall-centric, so membership surfaces are present but understated. There is no pricing table on the homepage and no prominent subscribe call-to-action competing with your photographs.

What works out of the box

• Readers can sign up and sign in via Ghost Portal.
• Posts set to Members only or a specific paid tier display a paywall to readers without access.
• The Portal trigger (account icon) is present in the header for signed-in readers.
• The /account/ route is styled to match the publication.

Setup

Silverpoint does not require any membership-specific theme configuration. Enable membership in Ghost Admin and the relevant surfaces activate automatically.

For full setup instructions — enabling members, creating tiers, connecting Stripe, and testing the sign-up flow — follow the shared steps in the Dispatch membership guide. Those steps are Ghost-level configuration and apply identically to Silverpoint.

Membership in a visual-first context

Silverpoint is designed for publishers whose work speaks through photographs. If your publication depends on visible subscription conversion surfaces at every scroll point or a prominent homepage pricing block, Dispatch is the more appropriate theme.

If you want an unobtrusive membership setup where the photographs do the selling, Silverpoint handles it well.
